Upon embarking on the SunVenture I, guests will be immersed in custom Guy-Harvey ocean-inspired artwork throughout the boat, indicative of the scenes they will experience on the water. Coast-guard licensed captains give patrons a narrated cruise through the harbor before heading out to the open waters.
The close proximity to the water and open-air sky deck offers SunVenture guests the closest views of the dolphins on an hour and half narrated and educational cruise. The flexible cruise schedule offers dolphin cruises mid-morning as well as during the beautiful sunset hours.
The most popular cruise option is SunVenture’s Crab Island excursions. Located at the Destin Bridge, Crab Island is a shallow sand bar where locals and visitors alike anchor their boats to play and relax in the pristine emerald green waters. SunVenture’s Coast-guard licensed captains charter the three and a half hour cruise so guests can enjoy a worry-free day on the water.

Memorial Day weekend in Destin Florida is the official kick off to the summer season and what better way to celebrate than on the water. The SunVenture’s new home on the Destin Harbor put this water lovers boat in the heart of all the action, providing a number of different water ad’ventures’.
The only way to truly celebrate Memorial Day in Destin is a Crab Island, situated just a few minutes boat ride from the Destin Harbor. While not technically an island any longer, this underwater sandbar can range between 2 – 10 feet deep when the tide goes out. With crystal clear water, this is the ultimate spot to anchor the boat and have some summer fun in the waist-deep waters. Our captains will charter you out there for a worry-free day in the sun as you mingle with the locals. The new spring season is bringing exciting new changes for SunVenture Cruises. The sporty 45-foot, Guy-inspired Catamaran has relocated to the crown jewel of Destin – the Destin Harbor. Docked a half mile east of the Destin Bridge, SunVenture’s new home is Heron Harbor Boardwalk right in the epicenter of water sport fun.
It’s also easier than ever to book a cruise through the new online reservation system. Just select your date and time and enter your payment information through our secure system. You will receive a confirmation email with your boarding pass that you can print out or show from your phone when you check in at the SunVenture kiosk on the boardwalk.
So what ad’venture’ are you up for? Dolphin cruises are scheduled from mid-morning to evening sunset times. This 1 1/2 hour tour cruises through the Destin Harbor and Gulf of Mexico for the closest view of the dolphins you will experience.

Summer 2013 is ‘unofficially’ over and we’re on the heels of another spectacular fall season. It truly is one of the best times of the year to visit for many reasons. Less humidity, lower rates, smaller crowds, less traffic, migrating butterflies….we could go on and on.
Our regular cruise schedule is dwindling down as well but Captain Rick is always looking for an excuse to get on the water. The SunVenture is available throughout the fall for any private cruises for up to 49 people. We can accommodate anything from catering to Crab Island excursions. Just ask and we can make it happen.
